Taipei: A conference titled ‘Resilience, Resistance and Resettlement of Tibetans in exile, Uyghur diaspora, and Hong Konger Refugees in the Post-Cold War Era’ is being hosted by the Humanities and Social Science Research Centre and Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, and the National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan today.
The conference has three sessions; the first session is on ‘China’s National Security Law and a New Refugee from Hong Kong’, second session is titled, ‘Tibetan in Exile: Identity and Legal Challenges’ and the third session is about ‘Uyghur Diaspora and Reflection on China’s Uyghur Policy’. The keynote Speaker is Dibyesh Anand, Professor, Head of School Social Sciences University of Westminster, UK.
Tibetan Scholar Dawa Lokyitsang spoke in the second session on Tibetan in Exile: Identity and Legal Challenges.
