Washington DC: The Atlantic Council’s Global China Hub will carry a virtual panel discussion on the current state of religious freedom in China under Xi Jinping and Chinese Communist Party. This session will take place on Thursday, July 21, from 10:00-11:15 am (ET).
The Global China Hub researches and devises allied solutions to the global challenges posed by China’s rise, leveraging and amplifying the Atlantic Council’s work on China across its 14 other programs and centers.
This event features a distinguished group of experts like Dr. Lobsang Sangay (Former Sikyong of the Central Tibetan Administration), Nury Turkel, (Chair of the US Commission on International Religious Freedom), Robert Destro, (Director of the Institute for Policy Research and Professor of Law Catholic University of America) and Sophie Richardson, (China Director of Human Rights Watch).
